      The process would've gone just as smoothly even if it ended in a failed vote, so in his mind the objective would have been achieved. That's why the process is the problem. Any process involving minorities that starts with denial of their rights and then ends in denial of their rights is not a fair process. The entire exercise becomes questionable.

      I mean if he were to lose the election in 2012, he and his strongest supporters aren't gonna be talking about The Great Process at that point. A loss is a loss. The difference is that he BELIEVES IN his re-election.

        The "process" is only for those who are seeking redress from injustice and you don't wish use any of your political capital to help them, only your oratory.
