    Just finished reading an article that said Brazil is one of the few countries in the world (and the only one of the BRICS) where real family income is growing faster than GDP.  

    Why?  Because of investment in social programs and wealth redistribution.  Too bad that anything remotely like this is derided as socialism in the States... 'cause it actually works.

    Article 196. Health is the right of all and the obligation of the State, guaranteed through social and economic policies that provide... universal and equitable access to programs and services for its promotion, protection, and recuperation.
