    I work for the state and won't find out until Thursday if I'm considered "critical".  90% chance I won't be and will be laid off.  Also a 90% chance of the shutdown happening as far as I can tell.  Dayton won't back down on this - he insists the long term damage due to cuts would be worse than the short term damage of the shutdown.  I back him all the way despite probably ending up on unemployment for a while - most of the state employees back him.  If it weren't for him, we would be in the same boat as Wisconsin without the possibility of recall.

    Imagine a Democrat with spine who ran on a platform of raising taxes on the rich, who said so in debates and in his TV ads.  Imagine if they were all that way.
