    McHenry. He's not exactly a likeable guy.

    Brad Miller's district or Virginia Foxx too, both seem open to a run by Allen Joines.

      ... here, near the end of the diary he includes a chart that shows how the new districts would have voted in the last two presidential elections compared to the old districts.  It's not pretty, though it is informative.  While Foxx and McHenry's districts are not as red as they were, they're still pretty red.

      that both McHenry and Foxx's districts were kept just Republican enough to keep them safe outside of the most disastrous Republican year. They're both 57-42 McCain, whereas all the other Republican districts (except for Shuler's) are around 55-44 McCain.
