    (Ooh, just noticed the "are" that should be "our" in sentence #2. Ouch.)
    *401K-- I'd like one, but don't have one.
    *childcare-- can't afford it; I do childcare exchanges-- I watch their kid for X amount of time, they watch my kid for Y amount of time. I have a small business plus a part time job (well, did until I got laid off a couple weeks ago). My wife comes home early to watch the kid on the days I have the part time job, and makes up the hours the rest of the week. She works full time and is in school for a second Masters' degree.
    *We rent our place; it's 1475, which we split 50/50, along with everything else.
    *I drive a used car (a '99 Toyota). No car payments. My wife takes the subway to work.

    There's an Orange County in at least four states-- NY, FLA, CA and NC.
