  •  Yes, I think that's it (4+ / 0-)

Fundamentalism is fundamentalism. Probably not full abayas and maybe we would even be allowed to drive, but certainly some same as it never was version of June Cleaver.

We view "The Handmaid's Tale" as cautionary. The GOP views it as an instruction book.

God, it all feels so hopeless.

We've got the corporations and rich ruling the world, and they rule the world - here comes my first HR - but when some of us talk about the NWO, we mean the banks and corporations.

When it comes to destroying unions, well, that's happening in the UK and other European countries and Canada.

We really are in a class warfare, and there is not much we can do to stop it.

You've got to give credit that at least the GOP is no longer pretending.

      Hell in a hand basket.

I do not know how we can change it.

We fight, we educate, we make sure that younger and future generations understand that what they take for granted wasn't always so. We never ever take our eye off the ball. They won't.

          But it's not happening.

Our country is so divided, and I know that I do not have to tell you that, but it's real.

I have no time or patience when it comes to fools. and that means my neighbors.

When we walk our dog, and that dog was attacked fiercely by a pit bull, my husband whipped out his knife and killed that dog.

After that happened, neighbors here whipped out their guns and they showed us them. in thinking  it'd make us feel so much more secure.

The knife my husband used was a pen-knife - less than 3 inches.

And knowing that our neighbors are armed, doesn't make us feel safer, but rather makes us feel scared

        it's our nature

have your bad days and bawl your eyes out

then pick yourself up and carry on

just remember, we're a blip in the overall scheme
