Until everyone who wants a job -- or a better job -- has one, we need people like Meteor Blades, iceberg slim, slinkerwink, and joanneleon to counteract the

    Yes on the first name.
But you don't need icebergslim, slinkerwink or joanneleon because they're not helping you.
If anything, they're making your despair greater.
And you don't need a pat on the head either telling you it will be okay either.
What you do need, if you're actively seeking a job, and it appears you have been for a year? '
Is to hear form people who can perhaps help you.
Why you would thank a diety to have three people pound into your head that it all sucks is beyond me.

I will say this - both my SO and I work for fortune 50 companies.
We've been on a no hiring freeze  for over a year.

I constatnly get "welcome (insert new employee name here) emails.  His company started hiring in January and they are not stopping.
So does this represent the whole economy?
    No it does not.
But when two huge companies start opening their doors again, it's a small ray of  light.

"Oh no...you changed your hair color? It's just so dark. You like it? And with your skin tone?" My Beloved Mom, December 25 2007, once again on notice.

      systematic change.

In order to achieve that, we need input from people who can tell the difference between their tiny limited person experience and actual data.

Your "small ray of light" horseshit is about nothing but trying to minimize the staggering poverty and massive hardship people are currently suffering in this jobless "recovery".

And the people who point out those very real problems, like Meteor Blades and Slinkerwink and Joanneleon, shouldn't have to keep fighting people like you who try to cover them up.

Mayan culture was strong enough to save the Mayan people from Mayan civilization.
