      Corporations, Unions, etc. I believe it's settled law that we can legistlate who is a citizen. It's why the 14 was passed to extend it to natural born citizens since congress and states prior to that could STRIP blacks and Native Americans of citizenship rights. But this protection doesn't extend to entities beyond natural born people.

      powerful route, and the one that's resistant to first amendment claims, is requiring disclosure to shareholders of every dollar spent for lobbying, to candidates and issue campaigns.

      Coupled with direct election of compensation boards, that could do something. The problem here is that the biggest shareholders don't give a whif about such things, since they themselves sit on the boards of large financial entities. BUT it does allow the info out so that targeted boycotts can be developed.
