    I personally am willing to sacrifice the Constitutional rights of illegal aliens in order to strip Corporations of their personhood.

    By creating an amendment that states "The rights enumerated in this Constitution are reserved only for lawful citizens of the United States" we can strip Corporations of their ability to donate without limit in the guise of free speech.

    Tea Party members will latch onto this wording because it appears to explicitly limit the rights of illegals.

      rule of law over persons within the jurisdiction where they live. That's a much larger issue; and a betrayal of the philosophical underpinnings of the constitution (see Declaration of Independence).

      I agree it's smart to leverage TP angst; just not sure that specific wording gets us where we need to be.

      And also eliminate all Constitutional rights for all non-US citizens.

      So the police would be able to arrest them without cause, they would not be protected from torture by the 8th Amendment, the government could seize their possessions at will.
