    members?

    A law providing that any corporation contributing to American candidates must either show 100% American ownership OR that no money was used from any percentage of foreign owned shareholders (admittedly, I would need to work out a way to word that to make sense) would instantly send the nativists who are NOT big money corporate folks, but more like TEA party folks would probably respond well to that.

    BTW, under Citizens United bans on foreign contributions also seem suspect.

    It is definitely legal for a foreigner to come to the US on vacation and volunteer for a US candidate - First Amendment and similar protections apply to foreigners in the US.

    So if money is speech how can you ban foreign contributions?
