    I agree about the need to reframe. I cringe whenever I hear anyone from the Democratic Party accept the "entitlement" label. It would be ok if they would use it and then mount a masterful defense of why it is someone who has worked for decades, or is orphaned, disabled, or lost a spouse should damn well be entitled to remain in the economy with a measure of dignity and independence.

    It seems like it should be easy to explain this fundamental tenet of the American way of life, but the party, from the national level on down, just cannot sustain such a persuasive campaign. This would seem to translate to most other issues as well.

      Seems they took easily belt out a "stem-winder" on the Topic,
