    If there is one, I haven't seen it.  Most of what I've read about him is in the context of the civil rights movement, and his relationship with/willingness to meet with MLK.

    If you want to read an excellent, very unconventional and somewhat quirky history of Los Angeles (I can't remember of the Hahn family is directly discussed in it), read Mike Davis's 1990 book "City of Quartz: Excavating the Future in Los Angeles."  It is sort-of an architectural history of L.A., arguing that it was the first city in the U.S. not to be built on industry, but built on who controls land.  It's a facinating read, and a nice balance of being academic and accessible at the same time -- and you really get a sense of how conservative L.A. was until very recently.
