    who's advocating for coal-free by 2015?  Compare to the Palo Verde nuclear power station in Arizona: 3.3GW built over 12 years for 5.9 billion dollars starting in 1976.  Since around then, we've built pretty much nothing.  China started building reactors in 2008, they're coming online in 2013, but they're not going to replace all the new coal plants they've been installing.  We might be able to make the transition faster than France's 20 years since the oil crisis, but even though we have the technology right now to transition away from fossil fuels, it will take on the order of a decade to implement it.
