  •  I'm a President Obama supporter. (3+ / 0-)

    I'm not, however, as you delicately put it, a "center-right sycophant." I'm a left-of-center, yellow-dog Democrat.

My take on the cartoon? It made me chuckle. Tom Tomorrow has been a terrific cartoonist for years. Some of my favorites are attached to my fridge. Do I agree with the point he's making in this week's panel? No.

And that's okay. Personally, I don't have a problem with folks on this site who wish to debate issues intelligently. It's when those debates degrade into personal insults that I want to run screaming from this site.

And when you try to elicit conversation by referring to those whom you oppose as "center-right sycophants," what do you think is going to occur?

...not know it? Many people in the 50's were commies and didn't realize it until it was too late. Maybe you've become infected with one of these computer viruses I've been hearing about or drunk the famous kool-aid, whatever that is.

they will do what they always do--attack anyone who does not unconditionally support everything Barack Obama does.

The result will be the 2010 election all over again.

Since you are not one of them, I was not addressing you. But they know who they are: tilting at the visage of Jane Hamsher with the same fervor that Michele Bachmann tilts at the twisty lightbulbs.

Keep repeating the lie until the public believes it is truth: TARP worked! TARP worked! TARP worked!
