  •  But what's the harm in doing it NOW? (3+ / 0-)

No downside that I can see; only neutral to big upside if true. And who said anything about a 'holy grail'? It's just a tool!  BTW, I find this totally consistent with the research cited and practices employed by DFA, on making it personal. They do whole seminars and training modules on these types of technique improvements.

There can be no deficit reduction without jobs, no jobs without growth, no growth without investment.

    •  Try it as an expiremnt and see, why not? (0+ / 0-)

I don't see the harm in it as the word changes don't have anything potentially problematic about them.

However, I do have to laugh a bit at your comment, no disrespect, because your comment is good, but having worked in polling, I can tell you that real pollsters (those who aren't fraudulent) and political consultants/campaign advisors fret over every little word in a survey, poll, cold call, GOTV call etc. Sure, they also know that liberties will be taken by workers and even moreso by volunteers, in some cases they encourage that, in other cases you'd get fired. But it makes me giggle to think 'hey just try it' as that is so antithetical to the word fretters in the polling/consultant/campaign quarters.
