    There is no other reason for this party to be.  

    So, does labor kos support primarying Obama?

      sometimes I wonder..... this has been bugging me a lot, that the Democratic party has been taking a whole lot for granted. Maybe there would be some way to decouple labor/workers as a platform plank. Maybe a sort of AARP organization, an association of working people. Excluding specific wage and workplace issues (aside from minimum wage) it would concern itself with family leave, hours, unemployment, health care, re education and training, retirement, sick time, trade policy (some) whatever. Be nice to see the media wondering where the American Association of Working People comes down on an issue, and how it would affect both parties in the next election.

        like a party that represented US, huh?  keep hoping my friend.  First we have to figure out how to get rid of the professional creeps who repeatedly wind up in our leadership!  Campaign finance reform is a good start -- maybe.
