    and IUDs are actually more effective in preventing pregnancy than BC pill.

      IUD can cause and have caused horrible problems. Every woman is different.

        I couldn't take the pill, had an IUD for years. Daughter can't take the pill either. Having looked into the risks and side effects, contraceptive pills have greater health risks and side effects than IUD; serious IUD problems are more rare.

        What I wish for every woman is safe, sure, affordable contraception. Obviously, more research is needed.
