    I have individual insurance. I just had a tumor (benign) removed from my throat.

    My insurance is $361 per month. $3500 deductible, 25% copay after that, up to a yearly cap of $6500.

    With texts, sonograms, fine needle aspirations and the actual operation (which was relatively minor; in at 8am, out at 11am, and the next day I'm home feeding my ponies)  I've paid over $5000, and I may not yet be through.
