  •  Thanks, Congressman. (17+ / 0-)

Signed the petition and will pass it on to others.  I sometimes wonder if this President fully realizes what kind of anger he and his enablers in the Senate are generating in the people of this country.  My mother (91 years old) is now in a long-term care facility and won't be going back to her home again.  She entered the facility in May of this year when she could no longer stand on her own and she has several chronic health conditions as well.  She's lucky in the sense that my dad, now deceased,  wisely set aside enough money that my mother's care will be paid for from the money he set aside.  But many of the residents of the facility where my mother now lives don't have that luxury and are there thanks to Medicaid.  When I see how frail these elderly folks are and how sad and difficult their lives are now, I want to just SCREAM at people like the Gang of 6 (7?) and this President and the Republicans in utter outrage at their callousness and selfishness.

These greedy, slobbering pigs are fine with cutting Medicare and Medicaid and messing with SS, but I see and hear not a single word about forcing the drug companies to negotiate prices so that Medicare Part D can be brought into line.  That our so-called "leaders" can propose these cuts without looking at Medicare Part D and while handing MORE tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations defies reason.

I don't know these people and I will recognize them even less when they ask for money for their re-election campaigns.  They are nothing but greedy, shameless pigs and they've lost not just my respect, they've lost my vote.

Objecting to our governor’s policies does not make a citizen of Wisconsin a criminal. Not yet, anyway. ~ nelangst
