    I can't say I've had a whole day without thinking about it, but mostly I think about it in a curious monkey kind of way. I'll see someone smoking and think, "that looks so strange." Then I'll see someone else and feel a bizarre rush of something like jealousy and think, "that was so strange." I haven't once actually wanted to smoke, though. Not more than I wanted to keep on not smoking anyway.

      I don't want to smoke anymore and when I get that urge, I just think about what it was like and how it would feel in my lungs again, that first cigarette recollection, and the reality is what stops me.  It's a snake, that addiction because it doesn't always feel like you want a cigarette.  Sometimes you just feel crazy and you don't know why.   It takes  a minute to tell yourself that you gave up tobacco and it's talking to you.
