        it has no chance of passing. Pollsters don't poll poeple who have no chance of winning (despite complaints for their campaigns.)

        But I wish they'd do so.

          which is the problem not the answer

          imagine that the people's budget were polled and imagine that it polls fantastically well (as i am quite certain it would)

          is that irrelevant bc "it won't pass"?

          shouldn't whether something "won't pass" be somehow connected to what the american people want?

          shouldn't we first learn what the american people want and then talk about what will and won't pass?

          rhetorical questions, sadly

          the system is utterly broken and a dramatic response is required
