Dem president, to pay for extending tax cuts for billionaires?  Is that your idea of a great idea, PsychoSavannah?  The best card the President could possibly have played?  Better than cutting our immense budget to obtain foreign oil, aka defense?  Besides having lethal consequences, (but who cares about that, if not Dems?), it's rotten election strategy to shake voters' faith that Democrats will not let them down on the social programs we created.  Not a resident of Florida are you?  A must-win swing-state for the President, filled with vote-like-hell seniors who are intently watching the Medicare/Medicaid debate.  AARP is running TV ads here by the minute about how "some in Washington" want to cut these programs.  Talk has been going on here about who started this discussion since the time of the cat food commission.  Heard with my own ears:  "You know who's doing it?  That Obama guy."

Sunday mornings are more beautiful without Meet the Press.
