    I love running, but have given it up with regret because I find myself in a constant state of injury and recovery.  It's just too frustrating and I never make any real progress.  

    Have you had a PT or other therapist look at your alignment when you work out?  Perhaps there are things you can change in how you maintain posture that will help prevent injury.  

    I support public employee's unions.
