    Castle districts: 11-12, 20-22
    O'Donnell districts: 29-30, 33-40

Districts that went from R to D? Castle won the 6th. O'Donnell won the 9th and 24th

The 6th was a win over a special election Rep incumbent (Kovach) who is now the NC County Council Chairman

The 9th and 24th were open seats. The 24th went 2-1 D after being held by a Rep for 34 years.

    The 6th went 5388-2600 Coons.
    The 9th went 5764-4724 Coons.
    The 24th went 3426-1630 Coons.

    As for Castle Rep districts?

    11th: +2528 Coons, +1800 Lavelle
12th: +1660 Coons,  Hudson had no Dem opponent
    20th: +1475 Coons, +2181 Manolakos
    21st: +1598 Coons, Ramone unopposed
    22nd: +1557 Coons, +2969 Miro

The only Dem House district O'Donnell won was the 41st, which is represented by an ex-Republican John Atkins, who left the legislature in 2007 due to drunken driving, switched parties, and won in 2008 as a Dem.

The Republican Party isn't a party of small government, it's a party of a government for the few. @bhindepmo
