  •  At 57 years of age, my company is moving to (4+ / 0-)

another state, and I will be joining you, and many others soon.  I have been looking, but no replies and interest in my skill set.

On an even sadder note, the majority could not take the offer of relocating with the company as they are stuck with a bad housing market for re-sale, and family obligations as well.  We are fortuante as our farm is payed for and we do not have oppressive monetary obligations that we cannot handle.  We are to young to retire, but I need to work to keep our dream of the farm, and it's educational purpose and goals continuing.

For what it's worth, I understand, and hope that we all can go out of this world when it's our time with having some diginity when it comes to our professional choices that we made, and ended our lives with.  I had so hoped for a Health Care program that would have taken the burden off the business community and for the indvidual entrpreneurs, but the powers that be fought that and won.  I also was hoping for the new dawn of the energy world much like the technology upswing we experienced in the 90's, but that too was not meant to be, and quietly put to sleep without a fight by those whose interests and large pockets won that as well.

(A big "sigh", but with optimism as we never let the grass grow under our feet, and the two of us will survive with each other.)

Hey Boehner and the Republicans: WHERE ARE THOSE JOBS YOU PROMISED????
