    McVeigh was not a Christian Reconstructionist in any way at all. Some accuracy is in order - his final words were Invictus, which hardly qualifies as any sort of Christian credo.

      and there was a Christian bent to largely because he was directly inspired not just by there Turner Diaries (which are very much Christian extremist), but also the assault ans siege at the Branch Davidian compound.  He actually went to Waco while the siege was still going on to get a closer look at it all.

      What I would say is that Turner was also virulently racist, and there isn't much evidence of that in McVeigh.

      Oklahoma City was a retaliatory strike in response to Waco, not just because of his anti-Government stance because he say events like Waco as an attack on Christians Freedom IMO, although I would agree that McVeigh himself wasn't devoutly religous.
