Is what's going to go down from all this. Part of the reason I'm thinking that, for what it's worth, is something Stenny Hoyer said this morning. He felt all but certain that the Repub House "leadership" was going to follow up this manufactured "crisis" with, you got it, another threat--and maybe success, short-term--in shutting the government down as the Federal Fiscal Year deadline comes nigh--which it will on September 30, now a little over two months away.

I know the negatores around these parts--not to mention the invasive concern trolls--will say this is "good news for Repubs" (not sure about John McCain specifically on this one!), but I really fail to see how their intransigence on this level three times in one calendar year can be "good" for them, nor will it "help" them in ANY election next year.

It's hard to imagine that Barrack will not hold them responsible for it when he runs for re-election next year, and in much more severe terms than he did in his talk last night. Certainly Congressional Dems will. And when people who are usually among their staunchest allies--not to mention biggest contributors--start punching them for it, I think we're seeing the beginning of the end of the gig for the "Teapublicans".
