to start electing US Democrats in regions where we do not need to defer to Blue Dogs on an explicit, class warfare platform.

By that I mean, I want to see Democrats actually expected, not only through individual conversations, but even reflect in their own platforms as a major principle, the need to tax the rich more.  The problem is, many of the most progressive seats have high incomes on average.

Since Daily Kos is doing a pissing contest now, here's my track record: replace Harman, (2006) dump Reid as ML, (2007) Edwards is a phony (07), replace David Wu, (2008) the 2009-2011 congress wouldn't act progressively without a strong platform (08).

that even though this isn't enough... we would at least see a clear bloc of politicians elected to and seeking to tax the rich more, and I mean a lot more. Let's talk Eisenhower rates, not Clinton rates.

Clinton rates are way too reasonable, way too generous, and too far to the right as a starting position.  I want to hear why taxes on the rich shouldn't be, say, twice as high.

      Get crazy on them.
