Posting a Diary Entry

Daily Kos welcomes blog articles from readers, known as diaries. The Intro section to a diary should be about three paragraphs long, and is required. The body section is optional, as is the poll, which can have 1 to 15 choices. Descriptive tags are also required to help others find your diary by subject; please don't use "cute" tags.

When you're ready, scroll down below the tags and click Save & Preview. You can edit your diary after it's published by clicking Edit Diary. Polls cannot be edited once they are published.

If this is your first time creating a Diary since the Ajax upgrade, before you enter any text below, please press Ctrl-F5 and then hold down the Shift Key and press your browser's Reload button to refresh its cache with the new script files.

ATTENTION: READ THE RULES.

  1. One diary daily maximum.
  2. Substantive diaries only. If you don't have at least three solid, original paragraphs, you should probably post a comment in an Open Thread.
  3. No repetitive diaries. Take a moment to ensure your topic hasn't been blogged (you can search for Stories and Diaries that already cover this topic), though fresh original analysis is always welcome.
  4. Use the "Body" textbox if your diary entry is longer than three paragraphs.
  5. Any images in your posts must be hosted by an approved image hosting service (one of: imageshack.us, photobucket.com, flickr.com, smugmug.com, allyoucanupload.com, picturetrail.com, mac.com, webshots.com, editgrid.com).
  6. Copying and pasting entire copyrighted works is prohibited. If you do quote something, keep it brief, always provide a link to the original source, and use the <blockquote> tags to clearly identify the quoted material. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate banning.
  7. Be civil. Do not "call out" other users by name in diary titles. Do not use profanity in diary titles. Don't write diaries whose main purpose is to deliberately inflame.

Please begin with an informative title:

This is what I found out.  We can have the building all day from 9AM till 5PM
Feb 9th 2013.   I found out they still charge 3.00 per vehicle for entry...Oh well.
Maybe we can find 3 dollars to park.   The whole thing is accessible to us..Rules are pretty flexible...  Here is what I found out.

Pooties and all welcome but not inside the bldg but very welcome.

No alcoholic beverages allowed in State Parks.

Smoking only on the outside of building.

All handicap accessible

We have to of course clean up kitchen and put up chairs..and tables back in closets and empty our garbage and leave the place clean..

We have full access to the amenities of the park

We can have a fire if we use Dura Flame or something like that in the fireplace.  Suits me...I didn't want to give up my split wood. ( LOL)

We decided on Pot Luck covered dishes so all we should be doing is either refrigerating or warming up in microwave.

We will have to drink bottled water, tea, soft drinks, juice, or any other non alcoholic beverage.  I can do punch pretty good ( Orange Sherbert)

OK..I figured Lunch about 1 PM

We will have time to sit around and talk, explore, listen to some music, and eat.

I have to put up 106.00 for the whole thing.  That is it.

No deposit just the 106.00 for using the meetup building and utensils, etc.

We need to think of who is coming.
Who is bringing what
Who is helping with Ice, or paper products....etc.
We need a list

We need any comments or RSVP.....and I will post the directions right here.  If everyone is OK with the date.  They are holding it for me for 5 days till I pay them.

What say you ?

This is on a Saturday before Valentines Day......

So I guess we can call it a Valentine Meetup !

This gives us plenty of time to plan our schedules now that I have secured a building and date.

Here is the link to the other diary and the directions are on the Ft Cooper State park
link.
