Posting a Diary Entry

Daily Kos welcomes blog articles from readers, known as diaries. The Intro section to a diary should be about three paragraphs long, and is required. The body section is optional, as is the poll, which can have 1 to 15 choices. Descriptive tags are also required to help others find your diary by subject; please don't use "cute" tags.

When you're ready, scroll down below the tags and click Save & Preview. You can edit your diary after it's published by clicking Edit Diary. Polls cannot be edited once they are published.

If this is your first time creating a Diary since the Ajax upgrade, before you enter any text below, please press Ctrl-F5 and then hold down the Shift Key and press your browser's Reload button to refresh its cache with the new script files.

ATTENTION: READ THE RULES.

  1. One diary daily maximum.
  2. Substantive diaries only. If you don't have at least three solid, original paragraphs, you should probably post a comment in an Open Thread.
  3. No repetitive diaries. Take a moment to ensure your topic hasn't been blogged (you can search for Stories and Diaries that already cover this topic), though fresh original analysis is always welcome.
  4. Use the "Body" textbox if your diary entry is longer than three paragraphs.
  5. Any images in your posts must be hosted by an approved image hosting service (one of: imageshack.us, photobucket.com, flickr.com, smugmug.com, allyoucanupload.com, picturetrail.com, mac.com, webshots.com, editgrid.com).
  6. Copying and pasting entire copyrighted works is prohibited. If you do quote something, keep it brief, always provide a link to the original source, and use the <blockquote> tags to clearly identify the quoted material. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate banning.
  7. Be civil. Do not "call out" other users by name in diary titles. Do not use profanity in diary titles. Don't write diaries whose main purpose is to deliberately inflame.

Please begin with an informative title:

I come to praise President George W. Bush--not to criticize him.

He said he would dismiss from his Administration anyone who was involved in the outing of Valarie Plame as a covert CIA operative, and he did.

He authorized the appointment of a special prosecutor to criminally pursue the person who was involved in the outing of Valarie Plame as a covert CIA operative.

He dismissed from his Administration the person who politicized its Justice Department, in among other ways, by instigating the wrongful federal prosecution of Alabama Governor Don Siegelman, and by dismissing multiple U.S. Attorneys who would not  prosecute based upon their partisan interests.

He authorized the appointment of a special prosecutor to criminally pursue the person who instigated the wrongful federal prosecution of Alabama Governor Don Siegelman, and by dismissing multiple U.S. Attorneys who would not exercise prosecutorial discretion based upon their partisan interests

He dismissed from his Administration the person who politicized its Pentagon by fostering wars and the prolongation of wars and civil unrest and insurrection for his political advantage.

He set an example for future Presidents to seek to undo and unravel the the damage to institutions of our government and society that has been, and may continue to be, done by traitors to our form of governance.

ABC TV's Scandal series is bringing to light virtues of President G. W. Bush of which most of us were unaware.  I believe we need to follow his example in trying to hold Karl Rove and his associates accountable for their treachery against our nation and civilization.

Sat Apr 27, 2013 at  6:50 AM PT: ABC TV's Scandal series is bringing to light virtues of President G. W. Bush of which most of us were unaware.  I believe we need to follow his example in trying to hold Karl Rove and his associates accountable for their treachery against our nation and civilization.

I have posted a thread on Democratic Underground on this subject as well.  It includes a poll on whether President G.W. Bush was complicit in the theft of the Presidency.

Sat Apr 27, 2013 at  4:17 PM PT: I just posted the following on Paul Krugman's blog at the NYT @ http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/...

Paul, I am the guy who introduced himself as your greatest fan, when standing first in line for your autograph of your "End this Depression Now" at the 2012 Take Back the American Dream Conference in D.C.

I am also the guy who signed, as counsel of record, the Moss v. Bush contest of the 2004 Presidential election before the Ohio Supreme Court.

I think you are wrong about President George W. Bush. I do not believe he is either a liar or a person who conducted himself in the office of President of the U.S. in bad faith. Furthermore, I think it very important that you reconsider your view of President G.W. Bush, for the sake of our future.

As long as G. W. Bush is perceived as the treacherous liar responsible for the disasters you describe, Karl Rove, the real culprit, will continue to practice his trade of serial treason against the people of the United States to the prejudice of civilization. Therefore, I implore you to take the time to understand Rove's role in betraying President G. W. Bush and us from his strategic position of trust and confidence within the White House from 2001 through 2007.

I have been blogging on this subject at Democratic Underground http://www.democraticunderground.com/... and Daily Kos http://www.dailykos.com/.... My political home on the Web is ElectionProtectionAction.org in association with Jill Simpson who knows a lot about this subject.
