When the corporate giants realize ACA actually lowers their costs, there ain't no turning back
CNBC, no fan of ACA, has this story of corporate giants like IBM, TIME-Warner, migrating retires to exchanges. You can find the article here:
CNBC.com Article: Time Warner to move retirees to health exchanges
Time Warner Inc is planning to transfer its U.S. retirees from company-sponsored health plans and move them to private insurance exchanges.
Walmart, the biggest corporate welfare queen, has already announced dumping spouses of employees from medical coverage if the spouse has access to other health insurance.
Does anyone think there's any turning back?
I don't think so. Walmart has already done it in a way. Now other corporate brethren will begin realizing how offloading health costs to a government program impacts their bottom lines positively. Medicare Part E (everyone) can't be too far behind.
