Posting a Diary Entry

Daily Kos welcomes blog articles from readers, known as diaries. The Intro section to a diary should be about three paragraphs long, and is required. The body section is optional, as is the poll, which can have 1 to 15 choices. Descriptive tags are also required to help others find your diary by subject; please don't use "cute" tags.

When you're ready, scroll down below the tags and click Save & Preview. You can edit your diary after it's published by clicking Edit Diary. Polls cannot be edited once they are published.

If this is your first time creating a Diary since the Ajax upgrade, before you enter any text below, please press Ctrl-F5 and then hold down the Shift Key and press your browser's Reload button to refresh its cache with the new script files.

  1. One diary daily maximum.
  2. Substantive diaries only. If you don't have at least three solid, original paragraphs, you should probably post a comment in an Open Thread.
  3. No repetitive diaries. Take a moment to ensure your topic hasn't been blogged (you can search for Stories and Diaries that already cover this topic), though fresh original analysis is always welcome.
  4. Use the "Body" textbox if your diary entry is longer than three paragraphs.
  5. Any images in your posts must be hosted by an approved image hosting service (one of: imageshack.us, photobucket.com, flickr.com, smugmug.com, allyoucanupload.com, picturetrail.com, mac.com, webshots.com, editgrid.com).
  6. Copying and pasting entire copyrighted works is prohibited. If you do quote something, keep it brief, always provide a link to the original source, and use the <blockquote> tags to clearly identify the quoted material. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate banning.
  7. Be civil. Do not "call out" other users by name in diary titles. Do not use profanity in diary titles. Don't write diaries whose main purpose is to deliberately inflame.

What was supposed to be a light chat with Jay Leno turned for the worse as President Obama's senior adviser, David Axelrod, inadvertently dropped a Bombshell---How the Media will spin this against him or how the Tea Partiers will react is still unknown but as for now all we know is this...

You must enter an Intro for your Diary Entry between 300 and 1150 characters long (that's approximately 50-175 words without any html or formatting markup).

President Obama Loves PIE

Huffington Post, reports the details:

Presidents have had their indulgences – Ronald Reagan loved jellybeans and Bill Clinton binged at McDonald's.
Yes, but neither of them had a coordinated Right-Wing TV Station attacking them for it. Whether this will become another "Journalistic Breakthrough" for Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham is yet to be seen, but after that Dramatic and Successful Spicy Mustard Controversy--lets just say we need to be worried.
What's President Barack Obama's weak spot?

Obama's senior adviser, David Axelrod, told Jay Leno Friday that the president was forced to "separate" from the White House pastry chef to break his bad eating habits.

"One of the things that happened when he came to the White House is they have a very great pastry chef. It became a big problem," Axelrod confided on "The Tonight Show."

The president, he said, "has a weakness for pie."

How could Axelrod slip up like this? There needs to be an investigation into this--I'm thinking Blackboard/Chalk/Printed Out-Pics-of-Black-Berry-Pie.
The chunky-built Axelrod might just be needling his boss – Obama lectures him about diet, exercise and his "beer gut."

The pie problem didn't come up earlier this year when the 48-year-old president was declared in excellent health by his doctors. An avid basketball player and golfer, it was said he eats modest portions.

Axelrod had a different story: He says the president loves cheeseburgers and pie, hardly health food.

He also "loves cheeseburgers"? For the love of God, someone help Axelrod off the stage before we learn that the President's favorite date night meal with the First Lady, Michelle, is shrimp linguine
The news wouldn't be welcomed by first lady Michelle Obama, who's on a campaign against childhood obesity.

"I hope the first lady isn't watching," Axelrod said.

-Hopefully she is not the only one, Mr. Axelrod, hopefully.

Although, we can't say we didn't have a clue:
