Instead of being frustrated this morning like I have been all year (yeah this year), I had to crack up with what I found today here in the community.
My frustration was spawned by glancing briefly so many diaries infested with confrontations and pie fights. This diary among others is an example of why I have not been around lately. I miss the times when I could at least make a comment to a good diary. Never mind about other issues and arguments that has kept me away. I am not into that.
I am not someone special here at Daily kos, that much I admit. But I also admit that I am
a special person when it comes to my principles. I am not one who will write one of those
pesky diaries asking "please delete my account", or one of those "see ya later alligator" in those diaries written when someone who wants to take a break.
I thought I had seen it all. I cracked up this morning. And its not the first time I`ve seen this:
I am sure you people have seen in the news, all over the planet actually. This guy from the college football team "The fighting Irish" of Notre Dame Manti Te`o and the hoax he
supposedly was played on. As I understand the hoax, there was never a girl involved in what Manti Te`o believed was his online girlfriend.
What Manti Te`o believed was an online girl were actually his own team mate who played
the role of an online girl. Well, you know the rest. I should really believe you have seen this.
But this is what made me crack up this morning.
SPAM, SPAM in ESPANIOLA, OLE.
Which launched my suspicious antennas.
It is not the first time I have seen someone write diaries in Spanish knowing that it will only create confusion and bickering. I am not a gambler. But I would bet my old snow shovel against your snow blower that the spam diarist are not Latinos. And I made these plurals because this morning there are two of these spammers.
Here is what made me crack up. Something I have never seen here at Daily Kos.
I went to check the spammers profiles and sure enough, they are apparently spammers. I
would like to know what the "Skull/Cross bones" in these two spammers profiles mean. I know spamming is a website worst nuances, but I hope that what I saw are not death threats. Now Damit, you`all calm down and let`s get back to what Daily Kos is meant to be and represent.
I will appreciate if you take me out of this confusion. And hey, Ole Texan is still around and kicking.
