Here's what I did. I went in and requested an absentee ballot. In Maryland anyone can do this, for any reason. They asked if I preferred to vote now or take it away and mail it in later, and I told them I wanted to vote then and there. No problem.
So I sat down in one of their privacy-screened voting stations, filled out the ballot, sealed it in an envelope, and handed it in. Easy peasy. No lines, no delays, just get 'er done.
In about half the states in the country, you can too.
This is it. The big dance is finally happening, right here, right now. Go vote!
