So here's what the TDS site has on Jon's guest:
Fawzia Koofi, who was born and raised in rural Afghanistan, earned a master's degree in business management from Pakistan's Preston University. Since 2002 she has worked with UNICEF Afghanistan as a project officer, focusing on child protection programs. In 2005 Koofi was elected to Afghanistan's parliament, representing Badakshan province, and became chair of the standing committee on human rights, women's rights and civil society. From 2005 to 2007 she served as the nation's first female deputy speaker of parliament. As an advocate for human rights, Koofi has focused on improving the lives of women in Afghan prisons, ending violence against children, promoting access to education for women and children and protecting internally displaced people. A candidate for Afghanistan's 2014 presidential elections, Koofi is the author of "The Favored Daughter: One Woman's Fight to Lead Afghanistan into the Future" (2012).

And Stephen's got Dave Grohl, talking about his movie Sound City (which you can download for $12.99).  Lots of stuff out there, including a Reddit AMA (and bunches of articles telling you what he said there) and the usual assortment of sites (RottenTomatoes loved it). And twitter, of course. This RollingStone review and the one at Stuff.co.nz give good overviews.
