I want to mobilize our dollars into action with a mobile application that will give consumers the power to make an instant buying decision, based on a corporation's affiliation with the American Legislative Exchange Council.

But because I have no coding skills and I'm essentially lazy, I'll need your help to put our plan into action.

The app could work something like this;

1.) scan a bar code on a product package
2.) Connect to a database
3.) Tell you if the product is ALEC affiliated
4.) Send out an e-mail and tweet to corporate HQ that for now, you've declined to purchase their product and have instead spent your dollars with a NON Alec competitor.
5.) Post to your FB wall;

"I just emailed "Scumbag Corporation A", and told them I will not spend my own money to undermine the health, safety and economic well being of myself, or my fellow countrymen.  I'll be buying "Less Scummy Corporation's" brand "X" instead.
I hope you'll do the same."

Any coders out there?
