Received this e-mail today from State Senator Barbara Buono (D. NJ) who is running to unseat incumbent Governor Chris Christie (R. NJ):
This week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed an extreme anti-abortion bill that would restrict abortions after 20 weeks, with no protections for the health of the mother and onerous requirements on victims of rape and incest. This bill is an outrageous attack on women’s rights, and we can’t be silent.

Chris Christie may not have a vote in Congress, but he is in lockstep with the rest of his party on women’s rights. Christie believes a woman's right to choose is not worth protecting, and is the first governor in New Jersey to believe that since Roe v. Wade. As governor, I will always support the right of women to make their own decisions about their body and their health.

Click here to stand with me now to tell the Republicans to stop their war on women:

Thank you,
