The maintenance funding effort for the bus is almost completed.  Please help pay the remainder of the bill so we can be on the road demonstrating sustainable disaster relief techniques and promoting energy independence in time for the July 4th weekend.

Kent found more worn out parts and needs an additional $1,500 bucks to fix or replace them. So we are heading to Kent's Custom Diesel Monday morning to check on large Marge and to shoot some new video of the work in progress and to thank Kent for keeping the costs down as much as possible without overlooking anything critical.

After the trip to Netroots Nation 13, we have $1,200 towards this bill and need to raise an additional $1,500.

In the last 4 months we invested $7,000 in repair and maintenance work. Add to that, $10,000 dollars worth of fuel conversion, filtering and solar energy and other equipment we added 6 months ago by Team Rubicon and Goal Zero, Large Marge is now worth about $30,000.

Our goal is to raise $2,500 for the repairs and maintenance and an additional $5,000 for a new set of 10 bus tires. The last big price tag on the maintenance and repair list.

After this we will be raising money to complete the build out of the bus from corporate donations and inkind contributions from other non profits.

We need to be able to show companies and partnering organizations that would donated that our bus has the support from the grass roots to keep their investments in us on the road supporting the over all mission.
