OK

Two years ago, I visited a friend's farm in New Hampshire and I had a bit of a "Charlotte's Web" experience.

This weekend, I had to be out east for a conference, and it provided an opportunity to head back to New Hampshire for some farm fun. Photos below.

Horace the Donkey
Horace the Naughty Donkey. He's coming to me for some love. I got all kinds of affection from him and his pal Toni, who looks pregnant but is actually just really, really fat.

Newborn milk snake
Newly hatched milk snake. Very aggressive little guy. He was considering how to strike me even as I took the pic.

Puffball mushroom, a little past its prime
Puffball mushroom, a little past its prime. There was a whole fairy ring of these guys, but they were all about a day beyond the edible stage. We found a few other puffballs that were good, plus a parasol mushroom.

And then there are all the flowers...
