As part of Super Bowl Media Frenzy Week ™, Gov. Christie along with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell toured a newly renovated Boys and Girls Club in Newark, NJ (Cory Booker's old stomping grounds as a matter of fact). He doesn't even have the decency to let a 13 year old win.
Christie was taking a tour of the newly renovated Boys & Girls Club of Newark today when he challenged Ivan Fradkin, a 13-year-old city resident, to a game of table tennis. No, no, thank YOU for playing. This may be the only thing you win again for a long, long time.
What ensued was a spirited three-minute showdown between the two. But in the end, the governor won.
"That's it, brother," Christie said before shaking the boy's hand. "Thanks for playing."
