OK

Last night, Stephen Colbert looked at Fox News's reaction to our capture of a key suspect in the Benghazi attack.

Why'd it take so long? Khatallah was interviewed by the New York Times "sipping a strawberry frappe on a patio". They could've just looked for the terrorist with the frosty pink mustache.

President Bush did not wait 642 days to catch bin Laden. If he couldn't catch him right away, he wasn't going to catch him at all! That's called having some pride! (audience laughter)

And folks, we will have more on this story, as soon as I can figure out why it's bad.

Video and full transcript below the fold.

Huge news breaking today!  It has been nearly two years since the tragic attack on our consulate in Benghazi, and ever since there's only been one question.
JONATHAN HOENIG (5/31/2014): What is this, almost two years after Benghazi.  No one has been captured.  No one has been killed.

MEGYN KELLY (5/29/2014): None of the attackers has been arrested.

GRETCHEN CARLSON (10/7/2013): The people who committed this crime in Benghazi have never been arrested.

BILL O'REILLY (4/4/2014): Why hasn't anyone been arrested?

Yes, we must bring those responsible for Benghazi to justice.  And sadly, Hillary Clinton remains at large.  (audience laughter)  Oh, wait, and yesterday this happened.
DAVID MUIR (6/17/2014): U.S. special forces moved in and captured the so-called mastermind of the attack in Benghazi.

BRIAN ROSS (6/17/2014): The U.S. was able to capture Ahmed Abu Khatallah, the leader of an Islamist terror group in Libya.

Yes!  We got our man!  Justice has been served!  U.S.A.!  U.S.A.!  U.S.A.! ... is what they want us to think.  But it is going to take more than what we demanded to satisfy us.
FOX BUSINESS PERSON (6/18/2014): Why did it take so long to bring this guy in?

BRIAN KILMEADE (6/18/2014): What took so long?

SANDRA SMITH (6/17/2014): For those keeping track, it's been 642 days.

BRET BAIER (6/17/2014): It took 642 days after the attacks to land one suspect.

GRETCHEN CARLSON (6/17/2014): This guy's been drinking strawberry frappes and lattes for 642 days.  What's up?

(audience laughter)

Yeah, what's up?  Why'd it take so long?  Khatallah was interviewed by the New York Times "sipping a strawberry frappe on a patio".  They could've just looked for the terrorist with the frosty pink mustache.

President Bush did not wait 642 days to catch bin Laden.  If he couldn't catch him right away, he wasn't going to catch him at all!  That's called having some pride!  (audience laughter)

Stephen then followed that with how the RNC is trying to attack Hillary with... a squirrel mascot.

Stephen then looked at Sen. Thad Cochran's (R-MS) admission from his youth, and what it means in this Senate GOP runoff.

Meanwhile, Jon looked at Fox News and CNN's "exclusive" interviews with Hillary Clinton.

Al Madrigal then reported on chicken boxing in Louisiana.

Stephen talked with journalists Katty Kay and Claire Shipman, and Jon talked with comedian Kevin Hart.
