This is going to be silly, just thought that I would let you know before anyone takes my musings to heart.

Unless you try to view the Babylon of the End Times as America, there’s no indication that America’s there anywhere [in the Bible],” Hindson said
How could God forget the greatest nation that has ever been or will ever be!

Unless of course Americans are just too perfect

“The United States would be incredibly impacted by the Rapture because there are more professing Christians here than perhaps any other place on the planet,”
Oh and this is a doozy as the Rapture might cause some minor problems:
It would throw this country into chaos overnight. Now, it would throw any country into chaos, but the larger percentage of born-again believers, the larger percentage of the chaos.
Call me a bit silly but if the evangelists are raptured up what are they getting worried about; unless of course they expect to be left behind?

Goddammit, God is giving Europeans an advantage in the post rapture world!

so many Americans will be raptured that the country will be totally decimated and all of the action will shift to Europe
There was I thinking they believed the Anti-Christ was the current President of the US, my bad, bad, bad.

I love these nuts conflating religion with exceptionalism.

One could argue that if the Book of Revelation does not speak of America then perhaps America had ceased to exist by the time the rapture is due? Unless of course God doesn't know all, or plain just doesn't give a damn about man made constructs such as nations.

They really do seem to get themselves in a tizzy about the end of the world and of course they have to be central to the theme, such chutzpah wont win them any Brownie points come judgement day.

I'm counting on warning everyone of an upcoming Rapture as we live by the sea:

The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.
I think that should be noticeable, even here in France [Part of the old Roman Empire].

Nope, no mythological beasts today, perhaps a barbecue then.
