Sung to the tune of the Association's Windy:

Everyone Knows It's Cindy

Who's come around to capture this moment
Calling us all to follow her there
Who's gearing up to give us a rainbow
Everyone knows it's Cindy

Who's camping on the streets of old Crawford
Smilin' at everybody she sees
Who's reachin' out to capture a moment
Everyone knows it's Cindy

Chorus:

And Cindy has stormy eyes
That flash at the sound of lies
And Cindy has wings to fly
Above the clouds (above the clouds)
Above the clouds (above the clouds)

2nd verse

Who's napping on his ranch in old Crawford
Lying to everybody he sees?
Who has no guts to answer a mother?
Bush is afraid of Cindy

Who sends our children home in a casket
Claiming it's all for Li-ber-tee.
Who's heading straight for Hell in a basket?
Bush is afraid of Cindy

Chorus:

And Cindy has teary eyes
That come when she hears his lies
But Cindy has strength to cry
While standing proud (among the crowds)
While standing proud (among the crowds)

3rd verse

Who's getting all the nation to wondering
Why are we really there in Iraq?
Who won't take crap or put up with blundering
Everyone knows it's Cindy...

Who's galvanizing the whole country
showing us all the way to be free
Who's representing We The People
Everyone knows it's Cindy!

Chorus:

And Cindy has stormy eyes
That flash at the sound of lies
And Cindy has wings to fly
Above the clouds (above the clouds)
Above the clouds (above the clouds)

4th verse

Who's stood on post for all of this summer,
Spring, winter, fall, and summer before?
Who's giving voice to everyone's anger?
Everyone knows it's Cindy!

We all are driving from Georgia and Jersey,
Finding our voice like never before!
Who's going to show us strength through her heartbreak?
Everyone knows it's Cindy!

Chorus:

And Cindy knows Casey's eyes
Are gazing through sun-drenched skies
He's giving her strength to fly
And lead the crowd (and lead the crowd)
And lead the crowd (and lead the crowd!)

In Cindy's 'Hope' diary, you'll read about a rainbow that graced Camp Casey yesterday. Judging by our time stamps, as Cindy was working on her diary, I was finishing up this one. [Cue super spooky music]. While she wrote about her rainbow, I was considering the fate of this one:

Who's gearing up to give us a rainbow

Should it stay or go? Hmm...In the end, I decided to leave it in as is. I hit 'Save', and then just a few moments later, Cindy saved hers. Later, while reading her 'Hope' diary, and learning about her rainbow, I think it clicked why she liked this song so much.

The 'how' of it doesn't really matter: telepathy, divine intervention, or coincidence. What's cool is how it unfolded in such a magical way.
