... today, in Salinas. Hartnell College 2 - 4. Be there or be square.

The titan organization of the civil rights movement, Cesar Chavez' and Dolores Huerta's United Farmworker Union is picking their candidate, and perhaps picking the President: Hillary Clinton.

On the heels of the Field Poll this morning showing what SacBee columnist Dan Walters calls a seemingly unwavering lead, Sen Clinton is in CA today, cementing her support here.

A little on Salinas: a major agricultural town in Steinbeck Country, just in from the Monterey Bay, it's a furtile town for Democratic votes. Like the heavily Latino San Joaquin Valley, it's an area where strong campaigning cultivates casual, less reliable voters.

This calls for a song. While the theme is LA, the vibe's the same:

Feel free to dance in your chairs. But be forewarned, this song rocks.
