Well, we already know that right wing radio has no shame.... If Charlie Manson came out against Obama there would be a noon to 3 syndication slot for him nationwide.   Former Florida GOP Congressman needs a job and has plenty to talk about.....

Treading on the territories of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity, Foley’s new gig on WSVU-Seaview 960 AM is political talk...

Republican Foley’s first show is scheduled to air at 6 p.m. Sept. 22, with repeats a few days later. The one-hour show, Inside the Mind of Mark Foley, will then be aired once a month. Once the Palm Beacher feels more comfortable, he’ll go on weekly.

Plans are for Mark to ease into a live broadcast along with live phone calls... based on his previous telephone behavior, the station may want to double the usual 6 second delay to a safer 30 seconds...

The story is posted on the Palm Beach Post's Jose Lambiet's blog and can be found here: http://www.page2live.com/...

“Mark called me out of the blue a few months ago,” said station manager Chet Tart. “I hadn’t heard from him in two years. He said he was considering a career in radio and he asked me if I’d help him out.

Several House pages reported similar pleas for "helping Mark out" over the years.  Luckily, Mark had enough friends in high places to stall and eventually prevent a more sustained investigation of the charges he played fast and loose with minor, male House pages.

“I was shocked at first. But then, the more we talked, the more I starting thinking we could syndicate him nationally.”

Foley's pillowtalk apparently can win over any skeptic, and should make for potential high overnight ratings.

Foley taped the first show Tuesday afternoon and talked about the Bernie Madoff financial scandal as well as what drives politicians.

Insert Favorite Joke Here.

“We’re all egotists,” Foley said about politicians during the taping. “Politicians are actors . . . looking for approval and applause.”

Mark, your constituents were looking for a Representative, not a pervert.  Very surprised at the current resurrection as elephants usually have longer memories.  Unless you are planning on taking on Howard Stern.  Good luck pal.

When asked about giving a platform to a man whose blue e-mail to young male Congressional pages drove him out of office, Tart said: “People here still like him.

The ratings will tell the story.  Rush Limbaugh lives here too.
