What did Drudge have to say about the Healthcare Reform Bill passage in the House? And what does it say about the state of Right-Wing Media?

What did Drudge have to say about the Healthcare Reform Bill passage in the House?

…nothing.

As of this writing... more than 45 minutes later after the historic vote, every news website, every cable news channel, has mentioned the passage of the HCR bill in the House.

And yet Drudge still doesn’t mention the vote’s passge.  At all.

I guess sometimes it takes time to figure out how to spin the news.

Frankly, despite his politics, you have to admit that there was once a time when Drudge would have beat them all to the punch.  Especially if it were a hurricane headed towards Florida.

But, not anymore. Today Drudge was the slowest. Today Drudge was the last.

It’s an interesting data point and it lays bare the fact either the confusion on the right-wing media side or is a symptom of the fact that his heart just isn't in it anymore.

In the days after the vote there will be a lot of attention from the left on the 39 Nay votes and those who voted for the Stupak Amendment.

But, we should always remain on the offensive.  And use this as another example of Drudge's slipping in stature from the former position as America's Assignment Editor.

Today, America's Assignment Editor was asleep at his desk.
