I know there are poor folks in my nation. Our nation. But this is more then I can take. Until this 60 Minutes story I didn't know there were so many homeless children that school buses have changed their routes to pick them up. In the US we live in a world where buses actually pick up children in flea bag motels.

I know we don't live in the world I'd like. But this just isn't acceptable.

If you watch the above video they get like 20 kids in a room. They are asked how many of them have gone to bed hungry. Every hand goes up. They are asked how they can study when often their parents can't afford to keep the power on. These kids talk about learning to study by candle light.

I know things in this world are not right. But this is more then I can handle .... just not acceptable.
