Donald Trump is not happy that Hillary Clinton’s campaign put out a video highlighting his excitement at the prospect of the housing bubble bursting because “you can make a lot of money.” Not happy at all.
“This low-life, she puts on an ad: 'Did you know that Donald Trump was rooting against housing because he wanted housing to go down because he wanted to buy,’” Trump said. “I’m a businessman, that's what I'm supposed to do. That's what I'm supposed to do. I mean, I'm a businessman.”
“I’m a businessman. I’m supposed to root for people losing their homes and their savings because I might fractionally increase my wealth.” But while being a businessman is such a big brag item for Trump, somehow Clinton is still a “low-life” for having pointed out his amazing businessman techniques. By his own standards, shouldn’t he be glad Clinton is publicizing those remarks?
Trump also showed off his fine, original, classy ways of thinking in attacks on Elizabeth Warren:
During the rally, Trump repeatedly referred to Warren as “Pocahontas,” a reference to the Native American heritage that she claims.
Psst, Donald. I’m pretty sure anyone who finds that line appealing is already definitely voting for you. Way to reach past the base and appeal to women voters, there. Yet Trump managed to be outdone by his opening acts.
"I've heard people say: I don't know who to choose: Trump or Hillary. Even Bill Clinton chose other women. So you should, too," Chavez said to laughter and applause.
Five months of this is going to get awfully tiring, but by the time November rolls around, will any women be left voting for Trump?
