We're just 12 days out from Donald Trump's 100-day mark and Gallup has some bad news for the popular vote loser: Voters think he's less and less dependable, decisive, and capable by the day.
The most dramatic drop? A 17-point tumble in people who think Trump “keeps his promises,” from 62 percent to 45 percent (or nearly two-thirds to less than half). In other words, people in search of "all the winning" Trump promised don't see much of anything but a blowhard loser.
Frankly, we're not exactly sure how anyone could have deemed serial liar and bloviator Donald Trump a "keeper of promises," but that sheen, however misguided, has dulled pretty quickly along with other key points of deterioration in public sentiment.
Overall, that's a pretty stunning fall from grace for a guy who came in with overwhelmingly low approval ratings (below 50 percent) that have proceeded to worsen. After entering office with a majority-plus of Americans believing he would keep his promises, be a decisive leader, and engineer needed changes in the country, Trump’s now below water on promise keeping (45 percent) and bringing change (46 percent) and just barely staying afloat on decisive leadership (52 percent).
Trump, per usual, is having a little trouble with all this reality.
Yeah, forget about all that Fake Media, Drudge has the REAL scoop.
You know you’re sucking wind when you consider hitting “50 percent” approval tweetworthy, on top of the fact it’s 50 percent from Rasmussen. Heh.
