Every year my little village in the South of France (Chalabre, pop. est.1000) celebrates Carnival by building a float with a giant paper-mache buffoon (called “Badaluc”) which is then publicly burned at the end of the festivities. Much merriment and drunkenness ensue. This year, King Badaluc the 49th was cast in the guise of Donald J. Trump. What better Buffoon King could be found? A picture of Donald Duck was added to better convey Trump's “merits”. Or maybe he's supposed to be his VP?
